We are a group of people from a variety of faiths, cultures, nationalities and political persuasions. We all share a concern our environment and the people who live in it. Environmental destruction, through radical deforestation, is a major cause of extreme poverty in third world nations and a likely cause behind the climate change crisis. The Eden Projects reduces extreme poverty and restores healthy forests in Haiti, Madagascar, Ethiopia, and Nepal by employing local villagers to plant millions of trees — for only 10¢ a tree. We are a 501(C)(3) non-profit organization registered in the State of California, so all donations are tax deductible. But the greater reward is the restoration of lives and lands.
